Frog Legs Anyone? (North American Bullfrog)

Nature has a way of finding the right environment for abundant life. Hundreds, if not thousands of tadpoles rapidly populated the water-filled holes Randy dug by hand using a shovel over a two-year period as he sculpted out two ponds from a marshy area in the meadow. The ear-piercing chorus of noise produced by the frogs and toads in the spring, many being the North American Bullfrog pictured above, practically requires ear plugs. Later in the summer, the frog population was dramatically reduced to only a few reptiles , most likely because of a hungary heron, as evident from the large bird tracks on the bottom of the pond.
