Fox kits exit their den along Fox Hollow Road
| As Diane and I were departing Hidden Hollows at 4:30 pm on Sunday May 18, she noticed a fox on top of a mound near the Hamilton Estates entrance sign. I made a quick U-turn and parked our pickup truck just inside the entrance road about 50 yards from the den where we watched three fox kits exit from a hole on the hillside. Two of the fox kits pictured above seemed undisturbed over our presence allowing me to capture these photos from the opened window. (Photos by Randy Wingett, May 18, 2008) |
